The Land of the Living: I'm Back!

Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year... I'm alive!

This whole having a kid business is quite the game changer. I didn't plan on taking two months off from my beloved blog home, but welp, that's what happened.

I've got lots to share, beginning with the announcement of my pretty perfect son (Yes, I'm biased. No, I don't care.). Then of course we've got the annual Top 5 Posts of last year, a review of what happened with that guest-to-nursery room makeover, and a boatload of holiday activities.

I'm also toying with the idea of a new bi-weekly or monthly feature full of motherhood real talk. It won't be for the faint of heart, and I need to screw up some courage to put pen to paper ... er, fingers to keys... but I think it'll be not only interesting for me to look back on, but helpful for new moms and soon-to-be's as well. I'm pulling my inspiration and (hopefully) moxy from writer Danielle Campoamor, a friend of my dear friend, and a balls-to-the-wall writer on a variety of topics.

So cheers to 2016 - Here we go!!
